Waste Reduction and Removal

Green Marine certified, Tymac provides cruise ships visiting the Ports of Vancouver and Victoria with comprehensive waste removal services, including recycling programs that reduce waste to landfill and impacts on the environment.

Offloading is carried out by experienced and highly trained staff authorized to handle all classes of waste including international, domestic, bio-medical, operational sludge and oily water. Whenever possible all waste Tymac receives is disposed of using Waste-to-Energy facilities, is recycled or re-purposed using their large network of vendors and recyclers.
