Mata Atlântica Walking Trail

Mata Atlântica Walking Trail

The Atlantic Forest of Ilhabela (SP), a destination that receives ships and cruise passengers, offers visitors spectacular mountain scenery and beautiful mangrove bays. A lush forest, full of hidden treasures like bridal veil waterfalls, delicate orchids and some of the best Brazilian beaches are just waiting to be discovered. You will spend approximately two hours exploring the trails through the interior of the Atlantic Forest - an enormous biodiversity. You should keep your eyes peeled for birds and animals endemic to the area. Over the years, the Atlantic Forest has suffered degradation due to agriculture and urban expansion, but this protected area preserves the forest in its natural glory. Upon returning to the pier, we still have the chance to see the local shops before returning to the ship.

“This tour is one of the most sought after, especially by foreigners visiting our city. It is an experience that connects human beings with nature and allows a new relationship with the environment, bringing attention to details such as respect for existing life forms in the environment in which they are inserted, as well as benefits to health and well-being”
